Patterns we skip

Why this course ignores named chart patterns, and the small set of single candle shapes that survive.

You will find charts covered in named patterns. This course uses almost none of them.

The named patterns

Head and shoulders, W shapes, mountain tops. Every cheat sheet is full of them.

Each one is a picture drawn across five or ten candles, and each one is easy to find once you already know what you are looking for.

A shape spread over ten candles is a picture you found afterwards.

The rule here is simple. Nothing that needs more than two candles counts.
