The price you mark

A swing point is one exact price, taken from the extreme wick of the two candles, and checked by dropping one timeframe.

A swing point is not an area on the chart. It is one price, and the rest of this module measures single candles against it.

Take the extreme wick

A swing takes two candles, so two candles have a claim on the price.

Take the extreme of the pair. For a swing high, the higher of the two highs. For a swing low, the lower of the two lows.
