Liquidity Part 2

Liquidity Part 2Leçon 4 sur 65 min de lecture

Sweep then fall

The shape those orders leave on a chart, how to tell it from a real break, and the two phrases worth being able to say out loud.

Everything so far has been the reason. This lesson is the picture it leaves behind.

What the chart shows you

Price runs a few dollars past a swing high, the orders there are filled, and price falls away. On the chart that is one candle with a long wick above the level and a close back below it.

Module 6 gave that shape a name and said the meaning came later. It is a liquidity sweep: price takes the orders parked past a level and does not stay there.

Figure 1 · Gold rising into the level at 2,431, one candle wicking to 2,440 and closing back at 2,428, then price falling away to 2,396
