A fair value gap answers where a pullback goes, never which way the market is going. Direction still comes from liquidity and structure.

This rule decides whether gaps help you or cost you money. It is the easiest one to break.

A fair value gap tells you where a pullback is likely to reach.

That is all it tells you. It does not say the market is about to go up, and it does not say the market is about to go down.

A gap answers where, not which way.
