Who explains things

People who have actually done a difficult thing are usually willing to explain how.

The opposite is also common. Whoever tells you it cannot be done, or holds information back so that you stay behind, is rarely someone who has done it themselves.

Useful information tends to come from people who have already done the thing.

Stay open to it

So take information from wherever it comes, including from people you did not expect it from.
