Connect the account
Logging the Vantage demo account into MetaTrader 5 on a computer and on a phone, the test that proves it worked, and the three errors that cause almost every failure.
MT5 is installed but it is showing somebody else's prices. This lesson attaches your account to it.
The three values
You need exactly three things, all from lesson MA-01.
- Login: the account number, a string of digits.
- Password: the one set for that trading account.
- Server: the server name, in Vantage's own wording.
They are in the email Vantage sent when the account was created, and in the account list inside the Vantage app.
None of the three can be guessed. Find them before you start.
