Days in a row

How many consecutive days to commit to, and the journal that keeps a record of them.

Two commitments are made at the start of this course.

One is a number of days. The other is a written record of them.

Pick your number

Decide how many days in a row you can keep this up. One module and one hour, every day, without a break.

Be honest rather than impressive. Whatever number comes to mind first, that is the one.

Write the number down before you read on.

Then add twenty or thirty

The number you picked is what feels safe. It is not what you are capable of.

Add twenty or thirty days to it, and that is the real target. The limit almost everyone runs into first is a mental one, not a physical one.

Your first number was your comfort, not your capacity.

The starting position is not the outcome

Where you start has less to do with this than people assume. The material in this course was put together by someone who began it in debt, at a low point.

The consecutive days are what moved that, not the starting position.

A bad start is not a verdict.

Journal from day one

Keep a journal from the first day, not from the day you start trading.

Write what you did that day, what you saw, and what you got wrong. It takes a few minutes.

A note written on the day can be read again in six months. Your memory of that day cannot.

The journal is a rule of this course, not an extra.

Do this now

Pick the number of days in a row you can show up for, then add twenty or thirty to it. The second number is the one you commit to.

Start the journal today as well, in whatever you write in. The date, and one line saying what you did on the course.

How many days in a row will you show up?
