Four rows, one day
Reading the whole calendar day rather than the headline row, what was on this one, and why the count changes nothing about the decision.
The morning was decided on the previous weekend, by one word on the calendar. Reading the rest of the day still changed what the session was for.
The headline row
The producer price index (PPI), prices charged by producers, was due before the open.
PPI is one of the four names in module 29 that end a trading day. So the day was already a sit out before any chart was opened, and module 43 had it labelled on Sunday.
One of the four names was on the calendar, so the day was off.
Three more rows behind it
The day carried more than the headline.
