Weekly down, daily up

The third market, where the two slow charts point opposite ways, the three levels marked below price, and the close that would settle the argument.

The third market is gold, and it is the one that produced the day's trade.

Where price was

Gold is at 2,426 before the open, pulled back from the 2,431 high it reached the day before.

The morning starts with price already retracing.

The two slow charts

The weekly is bearish. Its last leg is the fall from 2,440 down to 2,396, and it is making lower highs and lower lows.

The daily is bullish. The 2,396 low was swept, price closed back above the swing high, and the rise from 2,396 to 2,431 followed.
