Whose release is it
A scheduled release belongs to one currency, it reaches every chart that currency appears on, and which side it sits on decides whether that chart goes up or down.
Today's calendar carried one high impact release, a UK inflation number. It is not one of module 19's four names, so the day was not cancelled, but it changed which markets were available.
The release belongs to a currency
The number is a UK figure, so it belongs to the pound.
That is what the currency column of the calendar row is telling you. Module 19 already covers reading the row and setting the filter that keeps only the currency you trade against.
A release belongs to one currency, not to the market you happen to be watching.
The same number, several charts
The pound appears on many symbols, and one release reaches all of them at the same second.
