Modify and close

The position from the last lesson is still open. Now change it, then close it.

Change the stop or the target

On the computer:

1. Open the Trade tab in the Toolbox.
2. Right click the position line.
3. Choose Modify or Delete Order.
4. Type a new value into Stop Loss or Take Profit.
5. Press the Modify button.

The new levels appear on the position line straight away. If nothing changes, the value was too close to the current price, and the platform rejected it silently.

On the phone: open the Trade tab, press and hold the position, then choose the modify option in the menu that appears.

A stop can be changed at any time while the position is open.
