Order Blocks Part 2

Order Blocks Part 2Lesson 3 of 114 min read

Where they show up

Small charts produce far more order blocks than large ones, and the leg is measured one timeframe below the chart the turn was spotted on.

A block forms only where a trend ends. That single fact decides which charts are worth searching.

More turns, more blocks

Small timeframes end trends far more often than large ones.

The daily gold chart may produce a handful of blocks in a year. The 4 hour chart and everything below it produce them often enough to actually study.

Look on the 4 hour chart and lower if you want examples to work with.

The turn is easy to see on a large chart

Start where the turn is obvious. On a daily chart the sweep and the close past the last swing are visible at a glance.
