The gap inside
A block usually contains a fair value gap. Some do nothing, and the one that counts is filled and then closed back through.
Twenty dollars is still a lot of chart to watch. There is usually a smaller mark inside it that tells you where to stand.
A fast leg leaves a gap
The leg that runs into a sweep normally moves quickly. Quick moves leave fair value gaps (FVG), which are price ranges nothing was resting against.
Inside the 2,420 to 2,440 block there is one, from 2,432 to 2,437.
A block usually holds a gap, because the leg that made it was fast.
Some gaps do nothing
Not every gap produces a reaction. Price can pass straight through one, in either direction, and never look back at it.
