The whole leg
The most common error once people start drawing blocks is boxing one candle. The block is the entire move, and its width is the reason you scale down.
There is one mistake almost everyone makes on their first day of drawing blocks. It is worth its own lesson.
Pointing at one candle
On a 4 hour chart you can point at the last up candle before the break and be roughly right. That candle does sit inside the block.
It is a shortcut, and it lands close enough often enough that people keep using it without noticing it is wrong.
One candle is near the block, not the block.
The block is the entire move
The real block is the whole leg, from the 2,420 swing low up to the 2,440 extreme of the sweep.
