Thin confirmation

Some setups have one reason and a break, and nothing else. They sometimes work, and they are still the ones to leave alone.

The last lesson had three reasons stacked in one area. Most charts do not offer that.

The thin version

Here is what a thin setup looks like. Price reaches the expensive half, a candle closes past the last swing point, and there is nothing else.

No gap in that area. No block. No level that was swept on the way in. Two marks, and one of them is the filter rather than a reason.

Half of every chart is in the right half. On its own it counts for very little.

Be honest about this. A thin setup can win, and watching it win afterwards is uncomfortable.
