What a streak is

The definition that stops a normal week being treated as an emergency, and what a real losing streak looks like.

Most rewriting of a strategy happens after two losses. That is worth putting a number on.

Two losses is a week

Two losing trades is an ordinary week of trading. It is what a method that comes out ahead over a long run looks like from close up.

Nothing about two losses tells you anything. They are inside the normal behaviour of rules that work.

Two losses in a row is not a reason to change anything.

A losing streak is two or three losing weeks, not two losing days. That is the point at which the run is large enough to look at.
