The ladder has three rungs and you use two of them.

The instruction

Normal and de-risk. The confident size is not yours yet, and it does not become yours because a setup looks clean.

This is not caution for its own sake. It is that the third tier depends on something you have no record of.

Two sizes, normal and half of normal, and nothing above normal.

What confidence would have to prove

Doubling a position is a claim that your good days pay more than your ordinary ones.
