Journaling TradesLesson 3 of 106 min read

The confluences field

The most important column. Writing out exactly which pieces put you in the trade, and what the slow charts were showing while you clicked.

This is the field that makes the rest of the journal usable.

Write the pieces, by name

List the reasons the entry existed, in the order they appeared on the chart.

A liquidity sweep, meaning price taking orders past a high or low. A break of structure (BOS), meaning a close past the last swing point. An order block (OB), the leg that caused the move. A fair value gap (FVG), the empty range a move left behind.

Name each piece. Never write "it looked good".

Count them as you write

Module 30 ranked your entries by how many reasons stood behind them. That count belongs in this field.
